AREA ATTRACTIONS~Artesian Well (Doster Road)
Historically, Prattville was known as The Fountain City for its numerous artesian wells. Many of the wells are no longer operational, but some still produce fresh, sweet water. Relax for a bit under the old-fashioned tin shed.
Buena Vista (County Road 4)
Originally called Montgomery House, this Greek Revival plantation home was significant to the cultural development of central Alabama. Legend has it that Andrew Jackson patterned the staircase at his home, The Hermitage, after visiting.
Autauga County Heritage Center (East Main Street)
This Greek Revival house is now a museum of Autauga History, with interesting artifacts that tell the story of historic Prattville families. It also houses newspapers, books, and other records.
Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail
The RTJ Golf Trail is an incredible golfing experience for everyone. The courses will challenge the best golfers in the world, yet allow an enjoyable outing for the casual or beginning golfer.
